Legal notice and privacy
WHAT BULLHERO IS
BullHero is a competitive video game played with virtual money. It is not a broker, it gives no access to real markets, it executes no real orders and it does not constitute financial advice or an investment recommendation. The prices you see are generated by a mathematical model: they are not real quotes from the Nasdaq or any other market.
Results obtained in the game do not predict and bear no relation to results in real trading. Trading real financial markets carries a risk of loss.
DATA WE STORE
You can play without giving us anything: as a guest we only store the nickname you pick, and nothing else. If you sign up to enter the leaderboard, we also store your email address, which doubles as your username. In both cases we store what you do in the game: points, rounds, credits and purchases. We do not store passwords because we do not use them: you get in with a temporary code sent to your email.
We record visits in aggregate form to know how many people come in. The IP address is stored cryptographically hashed with a secret salt, so it cannot identify anyone and cannot be reversed back to the original IP.
PHONE NOTIFICATIONS
If you agree to receive notifications on your phone, we store the identifier your phone system gives us along with the language it is set to, so we can tell you in your own language when a tournament starts or how yours ended. That identifier does not say who you are or where you are. You can stop it whenever you want from your phone notification settings, without touching anything in the app: the moment you do, the identifier stops working and we delete it.
THIRD PARTIES
We use Mailjet to send the access emails, Stripe to process payments and Firebase Cloud Messaging, by Google, to deliver notifications to your phone. We never store card details: Stripe handles them entirely. If you installed the app from Google Play or the App Store, Google or Apple know you have it installed, under their own terms, which we take no part in. Purchases made inside the app are charged by the phone store, App Store or Google Play, not by Stripe.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can request access, correction or full deletion of your account and your data by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days at most. Guest accounts that never get registered are deleted on their own after seven days.
PURCHASES
Store products are digital goods that are activated on your account immediately. By purchasing, you accept immediate delivery and waive your right of withdrawal once the content has been activated, in accordance with article 103.m of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. Nothing is sold inside the mobile app: there, credits are only earned by playing.
AGE
BullHero is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age. If you believe a minor in your care has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
